Unreview:
Hell and Death and An American Guitar
What is it?
A one-page game about playing your way out of hell.
Is it playable out of the box?
No. I tried. There’s something important missing: I have read this multiple times and still have no idea how you’re supposed to generate which foes you fight; ‘that’s up to you’ is not helpful here.
Amendments:
You really need a mechanism for knowing how many foes (and what kind) to fight. Otherwise the game is not a game, it’s just a way to load the dice in your favour, and that’s boring.
Tools
6 d6 and… something.

Verdict
📟 Half a game
Drat. This looked like fun; it has a slightly weird dice pool mechanic, you’re ultimately fighting the Devil (who has, of course, 666 hit points), but a good chunk of game is missing.
I do not know how to fill the gap, so this is an unreview after all, and I’m deleting it, but I’m a bit miffed, because this could have been fun.
